What we do
We design and build web-based business systems from scratch, and we take over systems that have outgrown their first version. Typical work:
- Business process systems - order management, production and service planning, document flows, approvals, reporting and analytics.
- Portals and self-service - client, supplier and partner portals, e-procurement, e-learning, remote services.
- Integrations and APIs - accounting, ERP, payment, identity and public-sector systems; API gateways, API-first designs, API security and documentation.
- Replacing legacy software - moving from a fragmented set of old tools to one platform, step by step, without stopping the business.
Most of our backend work is Ruby on Rails, Node.js and Python with PostgreSQL, Redis and ElasticSearch. The frontend is React, TypeScript or Vue.js. Infrastructure runs on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud with Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform. Every project ships with automated tests (RSpec, Jest, Playwright) and a CI/CD pipeline, so a release is a routine, not an event.
How a project runs
Every project follows the Mitigate model: idea, procurement, inception, design, development, QA, deployment and ongoing support. Before development starts we agree on the roles and responsibilities, a communication plan, the risks and dependencies, a time plan with deliverables, quality assurance and how changes are handled. Work is delivered in short iterations, so you see working software early and the scope and budget stay under control. After launch the same team maintains the system and develops it further.
If the system needs a mobile app for employees or customers, the same team builds it on the same backend.
Who it is for
- Manufacturing, logistics and service companies that need a system matching their process, not a generic package.
- Public-sector and regulated organisations with procurement, security and audit requirements.
- Companies running a critical system built ten years ago that needs to be replaced without a big-bang cutover.
- Product owners who need one partner for the whole lifecycle: analysis, design, development, hosting and support.
SIA Mitigate is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and applies the ISO/IEC/IEEE 90003:2018 guidelines for software engineering in its work.
What you get
- Working software from the first iterations, not a presentation at the end of the project.
- The source code in a shared repository, with automated tests and a CI/CD pipeline that deploys it.
- Documentation and a structured handover, so your own team or another supplier could take over if needed.
- A support agreement after launch: monitoring, fixes and further development by the same team that built the system.
