PREFERRED SKILLS:

Education and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, or similar
• +2 years experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails
• +2 years experience in Node.JS and React.JS (or similar environments or libraries)

Technical skills:

• Familiarity with MVC, ORM and RESTful, API, GRAPHQL
• TDD, BDD, Mocks, as well as knowledge about testing tools
• Good SQL skills

Soft skills:

• Ability and desire to work in an Agile development environment
• Willingness to develop yourself in IT field by self studying and learning from other team members
• Problem solving and time management skills
• Communication skills when cooperating with colleagues and clients

HOW WILL YOUR DAY LOOK LIKE?

• Fulfill development tasks - write effective Ruby code, develop back end components for applications and develop automated tests
• Communication with client and provide consultation, evaluate project needs, analyze work tasks and regularly demonstrate the result
• Mentor more junior colleagues and share your knowledge
• Look for solutions according to client's situation and present them in a simple manner
• Review other colleague's work and give feedback
• Develop architecturally long lasting solutions and encourage the use/integration of new technologies and solutions in the projects
